Steve Antoniewicz, McAfee
Based out of the McAfee New York office, Steve is the Director of McAfee Professional Services. Steve is responsible for managing all aspects of delivery and staff related to McAfee product enablement and Foundstone security assessment services.
Mr. Antoniewicz has nearly fifteen years of experience within information technology. Immediately prior to joining the McAfee team, Steve Antoniewicz held the Vice President of Security Solutions position within NET2S, which was later acquired by a global Tier 1 telecommunications company. In this role, he was solely responsible for leading the Security Solutions practice that provided consulting services to Fortune 100 clients (including 18 out of the 20 largest global financial institutions).
Previous work has placed Steve in BITS / HIPAA / PCI / SOX / IT security and audit, risk assessment, network engineering, UNIX / Windows systems administration, programming, ethical hacking, and business continuity planning. In addition, Mr. Antoniewicz is well acquainted with the key emerging solutions in the security space that span from wired to wireless, VoIP to IPS, and all the latest vulnerability identification, assessment, and exploitation tools.
Steve is an accomplished speaker, and a contributor to several Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) projects. Also, he is a contributor to the BITS Financial Services Roundtable Security Program committee. Previously, Steve was Vice President of the NY/NJ Metro OWASP chapter, and retains current membership with ISSA, ISACA, and Infragard.
Steve holds several industry designations, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), and PCI Qualified Security Auditor (QSA), as well as many commercial product certifications.
