Amro Ahmed Aka Amro AlOlaqi joined OWASP back in 2008.

Amro currently works as a Sr. Consultant at Verizon (Threat & Vulnerability) he has more than 8 years of experience in Information security. He started his professional career at early age, since then, he engaged the field of UNIX/Linux engineering and systems’ security. Throughout his extraordinary achievements and accomplishments, he became amongst the most recognized experts in the field of penetration testing, application security and vulnerability assessment within Saudi Arabia and Untied Arab Emirates. He carried out penetration tests, application , vulnerability assessments and security audits for prestigious organizations. Moreover, his expertise extends across industry verticals, security technologies plus hacking tools and techniques. Amro hold well-recognized international certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GHTQ, ECSA/LPT, CEH, CHFI, RHCE, SCSA, Linux+, LPIC1/2 SCSECA, and Certified ISO 27001 LA/LI
