The OWASP Paraíba Day 2012 will be an Information Security event, focused on Application Security, that is going to happen on the 20th of January 2012 in João Pessoa, Paraíba. The event will have many Information Security professionals from various States of the country as well as some OWASP Brazil members. It will be the first event in the northeast focused on Application Security.

OWASP Paraíba Day - Call for Papers
The OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) sis currently soliciting presentations for the OWASP Paraíba Day, that will happen in João Pessoa, Paraíba, on the 20th of January 2012. We are seeking people and organizations that want to present on any of the following topics. In particular, these are some topics of interest:
- Application Threat Modeling - Business Risks with Application Security - Hands-on Source Code Review - Metrics for Application Security - OWASP Tools and Projects - Privacy Concerns with Applications and Data Storage - Secure Coding Practices (J2EE/.NET) - Starting and Managing Secure Development Lifecycle Programs - Technology specific presentations on security such as AJAX, XML, etc - Web Application Security countermeasures - Web Application Security Testing - Web Services-, XML- and Application Security - Anything else relating to OWASP and Application Security
The topic's list isn't complete. Other topics may be discussed as long as they are related to the main theme of the event: Application Security.

Mini Bio of the Speaker
Each presentation will have 50 minutes long, followed by 10 minutes for Q&A. The presentations must respect the restrictions of the OWASP Speaker Agreement.
Last day to submit a proposal 30th of December 2011 at 23:59, João Pessoa time. The notification of acceptance will happen until 6th of January 2012.
