I am originally from Tupelo, MS, but received a BS in Mathematics / Computer Science from Fontbonne College in St. Louis, MO. After working as a computer programmer for a few years at McDonnell Douglas, I moved to New York City, where I followed a life-long dream of having a career as a professional singer. I toured Europe several times, and the U.S. many times. I studied Authentic Baroque Performance Practice (music) at the Royal Conservatory at the Haag. Then, in 1996, I moved to San Francisco, and began working as a web developer / programmer at a large energy utility. In 2007, I began working in the Information Security and Compliance, at the same company. I received an MS in Information Assurance from Norwich University in 2008. Currently, I am one of the three co-leaders of the San Francisco Bay Area OWASP Chapter.
