Mostafa is an information security professional specializing in application security. He made major contributions to spread the application security knowledge in his community. He founded an application security division in the Information Technology Institute (ITI) in Cairo, helping hundreds of fresh graduates getting knowledge about application security. Mostafa is a known speaker in security conferences and events in Egypt and the region (e.g. Cairo Security Camp 2012 and 2013, Gulf Security Camp 2014). Mostafa is also in the executive board of OWASP Cairo Chapter where he participates in setting the strategy of the chapter and gives sessions in the chapter events. Mostafa holds a bachelor of computer engineering from Cairo University and a master of business administration from the American University in Cairo. Mostafa currently works as a Senior Information Security Specialist at Etisalat Egypt (a major telecommunications operator in Egypt).
